  • The Situation

    Our client, a national specialty contractor, needed to hire a large number of skilled technicians in a short period of time (within two weeks) in order to meet a very ambitious timetable for a new “greenfield” construction project. The client also needed a solution that would allow them to bring on interns that they had previously identified, while keeping all of the billing and records managed in one reporting system.

  • The Analysis

    There were a number of challenges in this project. These challenges included the scarcity of skilled workers, the quick turn-around time, the scheduling of shift work, and the temporary nature of the project (two – three months). Our client was counting on us to help them hire the staff required to meet a highly accelerated timeline in order to satisfy their customer.

  • The Solution

    We were able to offer our client a single source solution for their recruited contract staffing needs as well as providing payroll and payroll services of their interns. We worked with the client to develop a timetable to identify a candidate pool, recruit, screen, and schedule on-site interviews for each candidate within a week. Utilizing our established database of candidates, our dedicated research staff, and our networking abilities we identified a strong pool of candidates within a week.

  • The Result

    Within two weeks from the start of the project we had successfully partnered with our client to fill all of their open technician positions as well as onboard all of their new interns. We were able to offer continuing support to fill new positions that opened during the project, while offering a simple on-line timecard reporting system interface to track all employee hours and costs in one location.
